Happy Monday! Here are are few things that were on my radar in July:
Joseph Brody walnut cooking utensils and serving pieces | I am always looking for good quality kitchen utensils and beautiful serving pieces for entertaining. Joseph’s walnut products are almost too beautiful to use for cooking but they’re so durable, they are meant to be used! So many lovely products on his site, especially this cake server set, cheese utensil set, tongs, and the salad server/spatula set (I’m using it for cooking). His products are well priced for the quality and would make amazing hostess gifts! I connected with Joseph and he is generously offering my newsletter readers a 15% discount with the code Pamela15. Alec’s Ice Cream | Ice cream is my favorite indulgence and I am so impressed with how many new brands and flavors there are. I eat both dairy and non-dairy ice cream, but dairy ice cream doesn’t always agree with me (combo of sugar and milk maybe). But I love and digest well Alec’s Ice Cream which uses A2 dairy from regenerative farms. Salted Caramel Latte and Mint Chip were my two favorite flavors until Salted Dark Chocolate came out and holy yum!
Weighted vest | This has been ordered and I can’t “wait” 😉to use it on my daily walks. A few friends have started using a weighted vest to add an extra challenge on their walks. I ordered a 10-pound vest.
Rowdy Mermaid Good Mood Soda | I received a snack box as a gift and there was a can of Rowdy Mermaid Good Mood Soda in there. It is caffeine-free and does not contain horrible ingredients. My son tried the orange flavor and loved it. He thought it tasted like regular soda. It has 4 grams of sugar, so it’s not a blood sugar-spiker. I don’t need soda in my life but this would be my preferred drink to keep around the house for my family over apple juice or normal soda.
Plantiful Gluten-Free Bread | My assistant and I tried this gluten-free, paleo bread and were pleasantly surprised. The texture was excellent and flavor really good. It’s a great option if you can’t have gluten and/or grains. Only tricky part is you have to order it online and have it shipped unless you live in San Diego.
Creatine Monohydrate | Creatine can aid in growing lean muscle mass. Creatine supplements are safe for most people, but always consult your healthcare provider before adding in a new supplement. I use MindBodyGreen. A while back they gave me a code PAMELA10 for my community to use on products and it seems like it still works. This is not sponsored.
My favorite disposable cocktail napkins are Vietri PaperSoft. They discontinued the pattern I used to buy, but this new one is nice too.
Such a yummy breakfast when you get tired of protein smoothies: Mash 1 part cottage cheese + 1 part avocado on sourdough toast = the best of both worlds. Protein, fat, salt and if you top it with tomatoes, leftover veg or fresh fruit, you get fiber. I like a little Calabrian chilies for spice too. I like Nancy’s and Good Culture cottage cheese.
Rally pickleball outfit | Just got this t-shirt and skirt and they are so comfortable and lightweight. I feel like I am wearing nothing which is great in the summertime!
Bono Olive Oil | I was gifted some Bono Sicilian olive oil recently and I love it! Tried their olives and Calabrian chili peppers too - delish!
