Thank you, Pamela. Love your information, recipes and suggestions!! Our family loves games also. A great one is Telestrations. Probably the most hilarious game I’ve ever played in my life. Laugh so hard you’ll be crying. Pass books around with a key word of sketching then guessing , similar to the old fashioned telephone game. Everyone that plays it ends up buying it. Thanks again for all you do.

I came here to say the same. I find the bigger the group the better. I've played with four people and it's not nearly as fun as when you have six people. But still fun no matter what. I haven't laughed as hard in a long time, as when I play that game.

Such a great game! My hubby and I occasionally play this after the kids go to bed. So much fun, and we’d play more often if we had time. Great article! @Pamela Salzman

Liberty puzzles are the absolute best. Beautiful and a different challenge than cardboard puzzles. Gray Maylin has some beautiful ones and some are very difficult if you like a challenge.

the more difficult, the better IMHO!

Love your suggestions and all of the comments below. Along with those mentioned, we also enjoy Nautilus wooden puzzles. And, for games, ditto to all you suggest plus Mexican Dominoes (can be a long game to play over the course of an evening/day - for all ages), SKYJO (quicker game and for all ages), and Phase 10 (again, longer game - for all ages). Have fun! :)

Thanks for the great suggestions. We love White Mountain 1000 piece puzzles. We get whichever one relates to our vacation spot (like Maine or Martha’s Vineyard) and learn more about it at the same time!

We like Telestrations as well. We also love Fibbage (Apple games) because it’s not based on skill.... anyone can win. My son has a disability so that’s important to us. Ravensburger also makes amazing quality puzzles. We always order a custom one with a photo of the grandkids for the Grandparents . Makes a great holiday gift and helps with cognitive function and motor planning. Love all these comments!!! Great post, Pamela. :)

Great suggestions! I ordered Blank Slate based on your recommendation and we love it! Our family also loves Rummikub and Sequence. Looks like we need to purchase Code Names too!

Wanted to recommend The Magic Puzzle Company with beautiful art work and good quality puzzle pieces to add to your list. Thanks, Pamela!

Thanks for your suggestions! Since I seem to love all the games you have listed, I ordered the one I do not have - Blank Slate. Code Names is our family's absolute favorite! You will love Mahjongg!

I really loved these suggestions. Just ordered a Piecework puzzle for my mom. I’ve been taking mahjong lessons and @themahjongline has the most beautiful tiles. Thanks Pamela!
