I hope you had a merry Christmas if you celebrated! We always share the Christmas holiday with my family in New York and we had a lovely time together. Holidays have become much more meaningful since they offer a rare time for all of us to be together. I wanted to post some of my favorites this month since I think you will love them too!
I am reading Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow. On deck is The Great Alone. Have you read anything fantastic?
Live in LA or plan to visit soon? I recently ate at Jemma di Mare in Brentwood. Delicious. The ice cream sundae is an over-the-top experience. Same owners as Jame Enoteca in El Segundo and Ospi in Venice, both of which I love.
The Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm is so hydrating and a life saver during the winter. My favorite flavor is brown sugar and it gives your lips a natural looking tint.
Two of my girlfriends were wearing the perfect white sneakers and I scooped them up during a flash sale. So cute! They are the Palestra Due sneakers by M Gemi. After I ordered them, I received an email with a link for $50 off that I can share with friends!
Seed DS-O1 is the best probiotic and prebiotic I have ever taken. I have been taking it for a while and reached out to see if I could do a collaboration with them because I love it so much. My digestion is best when I take it and noticeably not as good when I don’t. They are offering my community 25% off with this link and code PAMELAS25.
An amazing salad dressing: I had a little bit of Divina caramelized onion jam left from a cheeseboard and added 3 parts olive oil, 1 part white wine vinegar, salt and pepper to taste, and a drop of dijon mustard to the jar. Shake shake and I had the most delicious caramelized onion salad dressing. Very similar to the salad dressing on Pizzana’s salad. Thrive Market has the best price for the onion jam and I’ve also found it at Cost Plus World Market. Click here to become a Thrive Market member and get 30% off your first order + a free gift. I save SO much money every year - it’s worth the membership fee and many people qualify for a free membership.
Update on powder dip manicures: I have had 4 since October 3rd and I am officially a fan. The appointments themselves take slightly longer (45-60 min) AND they are twice the price as a regular manicure BUT when the service is over, you can walk right out of the salon without worrying if your nails will get messed up AND the manicure lasts 3-4 weeks. Please do not tell me my nails will fall off in a year, because powder dip manicures are my dream come true.
You know I love saving money, so I made my holiday shopping work for me a few different ways:
Rakuten Rakuten costs nothing to participate and gives you cash back on so many sites even on top of sales and promotions. It’s automatic once you install it on your computer (it’s easy.) If you are not using Rakuten, you are leaving money on the table. Click here to register.
Airline shopping websites I have my credit cards registered with a few airline shopping sites both for restaurants and online stores which give me extra miles for purchases even on top of miles earned from a credit card. If there’s a choice between Rakuten and an airline site, I choose Rakuten because it’s cash back.
American Express deals If you have an American Express card, are you aware they have “offers” you can activate at no cost? If you happen to shop at the site with the deal, you receive the benefits automatically. It’s a no brainer. I am not going to evaluate all credit cards and their benefits, but many of them have deals that are not taken advantage of.
Thank you all for being part of my online community. Some of you subscribe to my website, my online cooking classes, follow me on Instagram and/or other social media platforms, and to my newsletter which I have been publishing for a little more than a year. I appreciate you all and love interacting with you everywhere!
xxPamela
I agree, it doesn’t always last for me either. And I am careful about wearing gloves for any cleaning!! But sometimes it does last so that keeps me hooked :)
I enjoy all your posts and especially these lists of your favorite things. I’ve not had the best experience with probiotics in the past - so just signed up for seed. Had never heard of them before. Thank you!
