Happy Monday! For my trials with spinach wrap recipes, that is the bonus content for paid subscribers (thank you!)  Scroll to the bottom!

Spring is in full bloom, and I’ve got a fresh lineup of favorites to share with you this month. From kitchen must-haves and wellness essentials to a binge-worthy Netflix show and my latest fashion finds, here’s what I’m loving right now. As always, my newsletter is NOT sponsored.  There may be affiliate links included, but opinions are my own.

🚨 First up, a quick announcement: My April Online Cooking Class is dropping tomorrow! If you’re ready to cook with me and learn healthful, seasonal recipes that you’ll make on repeat, keep an eye out—I can’t wait to share this month’s menu with you!  I am calling it Fresh Recipes for a Tex-Mex Fiesta!

What was on My Radar This Month

Fishwife Cookbook

If you love the idea of tinned fish but aren’t sure how to use it beyond piling it on crackers, this cookbook is for you! Fishwife has been at the forefront of the gourmet tinned seafood trend, and their new book is packed with creative and flavorful ways to cook with sardines, tuna, trout, and more. I made an orzo and smoked trout recipe on IG live recently and it was FAB!

Creatine

Creatine isn’t just for bodybuilders—it’s actually an incredible supplement for maintaining lean muscle, supporting muscle recovery, enhancing cognitive function, and even boosting energy levels, especially for women as we age. I’ve been adding Creatine+ from MindBodyGreen to my pre-workout morning water (along with my trusty Armra Colostrum), and I love that it’s clean, high-quality, and so easy to incorporate into my routine. Plus, the addition of taurine to creatine enhances muscle hydration, reduces fatigue, and improves recovery by supporting electrolyte balance and cell function. Taurine also has neuroprotective and antioxidant properties, which can aid in cognitive function and reduce oxidative stress. Together, they create a powerful combo for better performance, endurance, and overall muscle health. If you’ve been curious about trying creatine, this is a great one to start with!

Science-Backed Benefits of Creatine for Women:

🔹 Muscle & Strength Support – Research shows that creatine supplementation can help preserve and build muscle while reducing age-related muscle loss, making it especially beneficial for women over 40. (MDPI Study)

🔹 Cognitive Benefits – Creatine plays a key role in brain energy metabolism, and studies suggest it can enhance memory and reduce mental fatigue as we age. (MDPI Study)

Giadzy Chocolate Easter Egg

This is my pre-Easter Spring hostess gift! Giadzy always curates the most beautiful (and delicious) Italian treats, and this chocolate Easter egg is no exception. It’s almost too pretty to eat—almost! Made with high-quality chocolate, it’s a fun way to celebrate the season and reminds me of the chocolate eggs friends used to gift my parents before easter.

“No Good Deed” on Netflix

If you love a suspenseful, twisty thriller, No Good Deed is your next must-watch. I won’t spoil anything, but let’s just say I thought I had it figured out—then, plot twist! This show had Hubs and me hooked from start to finish. If you need a good weekend binge, queue this one up.

Apollo Wearable

A friend recommended the Apollo wearable for better sleep, and my husband surprised me with one for my birthday several years ago. I’ve been using it ever since—every night and sometimes during the day. It’s designed to help reduce stress, improve focus, and promote better sleep through subtle vibrations that signal relaxation to your nervous system. Honestly, I’m surprised more people don’t know about the Apollo!

My husband got one for himself last year, and now all three of my kids have one too. Interestingly, we all use it for different needs—whether it’s for winding down before bed, staying focused during the day, or managing stress. It’s been such a game-changer for our family! Use code PAMELASALZMAN for $60 off. This would be the perfect graduation gift!!

Seavees

If you’re looking for a comfy, stylish sneaker that goes with everything, Seavees are a fantastic pick. I first spotted them on Gwyneth Paltrow last year (yes, I was influenced!), and I couldn’t get them out of my head—so I finally went for it, and I’m so glad I did!

As a longtime New Balance fan (they just fit me so well), I was thrilled to find that these have a similar feel—super comfortable with just the right amount of support. They have that effortless California-cool vibe, making them perfect for spring walks, casual outings, or even dressing up a little. I love a sneaker that’s both functional and fashionable, and these check all the boxes. Plus, the blue color looks amazing with denim—a total win in my book!

Tennis/Pickleball Goggles (Accidents Happen!)

Here’s a PSA for all my fellow pickleball players: protect your eyes! I recently hit my friend in the eye with a ball (totally unintentional, I swear!), and it made me realize that eye protection is no joke. Now, I’m looking into goggles to make sure I don’t have another oops moment on the court. Two friends recommended these and these.

Staub Silicone Utensils

I’m always testing new kitchen tools, and these Staub silicone utensils have quickly become a favorite. They’re sturdy, heat-resistant, and safe for all cookware—no scratching your pans! They’re all great, but the Multi-function Spoon is the most used and under $15.

I used them in a recent video, and the plastic police came out in full force. But let’s clear this up—they are absolutely not plastic (which we all know is a no-go especially with heat). Silicone is non-toxic, heat-safe, and doesn’t leach chemicals, making it a much better choice. Plus, they have a really nice weight to them—one of those little upgrades that makes cooking even more enjoyable! 3-pc set, 5-pc set and 11-pc set

Juju + Stitch Embroidered Sweatshirt

I was gifted a custom embroidered sweatshirt from Juju + Stitch, and it’s so cute and comfy! It’s such a fun way to personalize your wardrobe, whether you choose your name, initials, or a favorite phrase. If you love unique, high-quality items with cute custom embroidery, definitely check them out for gifting for Mother’s Day, new baby, or graduation.

Anthropologie Eden Stoneware Seder Plate

We celebrate both Easter and Passover, and I love finding modern, beautiful pieces to elevate the table. This Seder plate from Anthropologie immediately caught my eye—its minimalist yet elegant design makes it perfect for a contemporary Passover table. I always appreciate when brands offer stylish updates to traditional pieces, and I wish I had ordered it before it went out of stock online. I notice it is available in certain Anthro stores though. The whole collection is so pretty.

RX Sugar Allulose Sweetener

I’m always open to experimenting with alternative sweeteners because I know many of you—and my students—are looking for non-toxic alternatives to sugar and artificial sweeteners. Lately, I’ve been reading more about allulose, and I am intrigued.

What is allulose? It’s a naturally occurring, zero-calorie sugar found in small amounts in foods like figs and raisins. Unlike regular sugar, allulose isn’t metabolized the same way, so it doesn’t spike blood sugar or contribute to inflammation. Plus, studies suggest it may even have some health benefits, like supporting blood sugar control.

I’ve been trying RX Sugar’s allulose, and it’s fantastic—it works just like sugar in baking and drinks, without the weird aftertaste that some sugar substitutes have. If you’re looking to cut back on sugar without sacrificing flavor, this is definitely worth trying! It comes in a dry form as well as liquid.

Uomo Sport Top (as seen on Donna Vekic!)

I spotted Donna Vekic wearing this top at the BNP Paribas tennis tournament, and I was instantly smitten. Uomo Sport makes high-performance, stylish athletic wear, and this piece looks like the perfect balance of comfort and function. I am holding out for a sale. It’s a little pricey. I am also making a plug for protecting your skin.  I tend to wear long sleeve tops almost all year.  My go-to is the Lija Sport Pacer top.  I have it in all 3 colors.
