Happy Monday!  I hope you had an enjoyable Thanksgiving holiday and weekend.  Thank you to everyone who tagged me on Instagram.  I loved knowing I was a part of your special meal!

Ok, moving onto the next - holiday shopping!  I have a lot of gifts to buy and I appreciate suggestions so here we are.  My assistant Lydia and I came up with this gift guide which leans heavily toward the practical, but I will also remind you to bo back to this Mother’s Day Gift Guide and this Father’s Day Gift Guide. You can also peruse the last newsletter of every month which is a collection of my new favorites!

BEAUTY & FASHION

Merit Makeup Sets - I love clean products and Merit is a brand I use and love.  The sets (I love the Weekday Set) are perfect for gifting and everything on the site is 20% off until end of day today 12/2.  There will not be another sale until next November 2025! I also love the Flush Balm cheek tints (I have Mood, Beverly Hills, and Terracotta which I don’t think they have anymore, but the other two are FAB!)

EACHY Travel Makeup Bag Really good pricepoint and lots of color options.

Elizabeth Reid Socks High-quality dress and sporty sock styles, effortlessly blending sophistication and day-to-night comfort. My daughters are mega-fans. code: Pamela15 (for a 15% discount offering)

Zip-top tote from Cuyana. Like that it has a zipper as many don’t. Comes in a nice olive green.

Pouches from Society Six. Good for teens. Tons of cool patterns to choose from. Get a set of three or mix and match patterns.

Custom Vans - fun to design online. Choose from classic shapes and customize using favorite colors, school colors etc. (Note it can take a few weeks for them to arrive, so you can also print out an image of product to share if you don’t have the actual sneakers to gift.)

Hey Junie Sweatshirt Super soft and cozy sweatshirts and hats, most with the “apres” them, eg Apres Pickle Ball etc. So cute.

Women’s Robe. My girls have this robe at my mom’s house. Very cozy and on great sale right now.

KITCHEN & HOME

Staub 4-qt. Cast Iron Cocotte This is a beautiful piece and especially perfect for cooking smaller quantities. I am using this size the most now. It is on the craziest Black Friday sale, I thought it was a mistake, but I successfully ordered a few for hostess gifts throughout the year.

Travertine place card holders from Crate and Barrel - good for labeling buffet items. Buy two sets and package with colored place cards from Paper Source.

Vintage Restaurant t-shirts This site has defunct restaurant logo shirts. Fun to pick something from recipient's home town.

Best Portable Charger Charges multiple devices, holds a charge for several uses, and easy to pack/carry when out and about.

Packing Cubes A must when traveling - keeps everything together and neat, and creates more storage for the overpackers. These are a great price.

Handheld Vacuum Cleaner The perfect vacuum for small messes or even the car, has a really good battery life and does a great job for the small size. Not the sexiest gift, but everyone needs one!

Portable Steamer Great for daily use and compact enough for travel and smaller living spaces.

Mini Marble Salt Cellar Set So cute and great to leave on the kitchen table. Fun to pair with some specialty salts like Jennifer Fisher Kitchen salt.

Rose Glass Decorative Bowl You could put this in any room in the house. It’s chic and a substantial weight.

Gold Cake Serving Set I never have enough serving pieces for cakes and pies.

Lunares Home Pint Ice Cream Server Set.  My favorite hostess gift.  I have in stainless steel but I love the colors!

Jessica Seinfeld’s new cookbook, Not Too Sweet Perfect for healthier holiday baking.

My Cookbooks! Kitchen Matters and Quicker Than Quick can be purchased online of course, but also through my local bookstore Pages where you can order and I can sign the book(s) and customize the inscription. Deadline for signed books is December 17th.

Even More Musings is an extension of my weekly newsletter, Monday Musings. My newsletter is a sponsor-free zone and is fully supported by readers like you.
