Some Gift Ideas 🎁
Happy Monday!
I know most websites and content creators have already published gift guides to their communities to be ready to pounce on Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. Friends, I am not that organized and I don’t think about holiday shopping until now. Trust me, there are plenty of sales and deals to be had. I thought it would be fun to put together a little gift guide with some favorites in case you’re like me and still need gifts!
For People Who Like to Cook
I am asked on a daily basis about cookware. I can tell you the brands I like and what sizes are great for cooking what, but I would buy cookware based on what I need, what fills in the blanks. I would first direct you to my cookware blogpost and then also to my SHOP page on my website. You can see some of my favorite pieces that I have tested over decades and still think perform well. I personally do not want to buy cookware that will only last a couple of years. Most of the nonstick cookware options are just that, and nonstick cookware should not be your go-to. Heavy gauge stainless steel and cast iron are the best. If enameled cast iron is in your budget, you will not be disappointed.
Zwilling.com is having Black Friday sales through the end of the month. To highlight some of my favorite pieces: Staub Petite Cocotte, Staub Braiser, Staub Gratin Dish, Staub 13-inch double handled fry pan, Staub 5 qt tall cocotte
Miyabi brichwood knives: chef's knife, serrated bread knife, paring knife
Caraway nonstick baking pieces. I rarely use the cookware, but if you absolutely must have a nonstick skillet, theirs is one of the better ones. Do not expect to have it for many years though.
My cookbooks! I can sign and personalize either book purchased through Pages Bookstore and they can ship it to you.
