On My Radar This Week
Happy Monday!
There are a few things on my radar this week that I wanted to share with you.
This coming Friday, March 24 at 11:00 am PT, I am doing an Entertaining with Ease zoom workshop through my friend Jeanne Rosner’s platform, Soul Food Salon. Click here to register!
Passport PSA Many people are planning international travel for the summer and let this serve as a PSA that your passport must not expire less than 3 months before your travel date, and for some countries, it is 6 months! Example: if you are traveling on July 1 to Italy and your passport expires on September 1, you will not be permitted to get on the plane. Click here to access the US government’s page for searching specific destinations and requirements.
Clear Airport Membership If you’ve seen people get ushered past you to the front of the airport security line, and wondered if a Clear airport membership is worth it, I am here to tell you 100% YES. I cannot tell you how much time we have saved and stress we have avoided. Clear is not in every single airport, so check the website to see if your hometown airport is listed. We have a family membership and if you have a Delta Skymiles account or an American Express Platinum card, you can take advantage of a discount.
Nettie pickleball paddle Hubs gifted me this very cute pickleball paddle and I was skeptical that it would perform well because it’s … so cute! But I have been using it for a few months and I love it! Plus I just went on their site and they have a cute bag too (unfortunately it’s sold out.)
Homecourt I was teaching at Jenni Kayne’s house last week and she had the most amazing smelling dish soap and hand soap from Homecourt. The packaging was gorgeous and I was instantly smitten. Jenni is as picky about chemicals in products as I am and she told me the products are clean and made by her friend Courtney Cox. Who knew??? They are definitely pricey, but I think they are great gifts for the person who has “everything!” I’m personally eyeing the tray + products. You know how much I love a tray!
Elevated Craft cocktail shaker Hubs loves cocktail-making paraphernalia and has tried so many cocktail shakers. This is the one he has landed on since it is easy to use, attractive, and most importantly, does not leak.
OONI Pizza Oven propane attachment Hubs bought an Ooni mini pizza oven when it was available first on Kickstarter. It was only available using the wood pellets when we first bought it and it took some work to make sure it was always hot enough. We just bought the propane attachment and holy moly, it is SO much easier to use and stays hot enough. Pizzas get churned out in a few minutes and they’re amazing. Pro tip: buy dough from Eataly, if that’s close to you, or your local pizzeria.
Book I’m Reading I’m on verge of finishing Lessons in Chemistry and I am really enjoying it. Very pithy and not a chemistry lesson, if you’re wondering. Check it out here.
That’s all for this week! xx
