Happy Monday!
I am fortunate that I have many nice friends who share their fabulous finds with me. And I enjoy sharing them with you! Here are a few things that were on my radar this week:
I’ve written about the pros and cons of the sun before, but I stand by my statement that the sun will age your skin. I have always been diligent about at least protecting my face from the sun. I am playing more and more pickleball and my visors aren’t cutting it. I was playing with someone the other day who is older than I am and has the most gorgeous skin because …. she is obsessive about protecting it from the sun. She wears this hat and removes the top to wear it as a visor. I just ordered it in 3 colors.
She also wears this top by the same brand because it is lightweight but protective.
I keep a small tube of this sunscreen in my sports bag and my purse.
Tip for the ladies out there who are small-busted like I am - if you are a 32 or 34A, you can likely fit into girls sizes like 16 or XXL. I needed a refresh on my sports bras and I tried this one by Athleta Girls in size XXL/16. It is actually just slightly bigger than the one I have that is a ladies S, but a fraction of the price. Needless to say, I just bought a whole bunch from Athleta Girl!
I knew the day would come when I would start to have a few aches and pains. I need to incorporate stretching into my daily routine before my workouts. I love my foam roller and am using it more. I also have felt benefits from this Leefy anti-inflammatory tincture.
I started using this probiotic by Ritual and I really like it. I’ve noticed more consistency with my digestion.
Hubs and I watched the series “The Thing About Pam” on Amazon Prime and loved it. It’s based on a true story which is one of the reasons we were so intrigued. The way this drama unfolded would have been otherwise unbelievable!
I am almost done with Ann Napolitano’s “Hello Beautiful” and I am enjoying it. I have so many books on my list and it’s anyone’s guess what I will read next.
Just tried the new corn tortilla chips by Siete Foods and they are delish if you like a thin and crispy chip. They are organic and cooked in avocado oil.
If you don’t follow me on Instagram, I just posted a delicious Herby Cottage Cheese Dip. You can make it in minutes or make it ahead and refrigerate it. I served it with crackers, crostini and crudités. You can also take the basic recipe and swap in a little feta for the cottage cheese. So good. Here’s the recipe:
Makes about 2 cups
1 pound cottage cheese (I like Nancy’s and Good Culture, both of which contain probiotics)
Zest and juice from 1 large lemon
1 small garlic clove
1/4 cup unrefined extra-virgin olive oil, plus more for drizzling
1 cup mixed fresh herbs, chopped (such as basil, chives, mint and/or parsley, plus more for garnish)
Sea salt
Freshly ground black pepper
Blend the cottage cheese, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic and olive until smooth. I used this mini blender. Stir in the chopped herbs and salt and pepper to taste. Transfer to a serving bowl and drizzle with extra olive oil and a few herbs for garnish.

Demon Copperhead was the best book I have read in many years. I loved Hello Beautiful, but Demon...life changing!
